Some Space Facts

                Space is a very special and interesting place for us humans. We are unsure what else is in the universe but, we are wanting to find out. Many people fear that there is other life more intelligent than ours; and others just don't care and want to explore further into space.
            The universe is a very mysterious place but very interesting and full of information. We are unable to explore it in person because things are so far away and would take many years to reach. Things are so far astronomers had to create a unit of measurement to tell the distance. The unit is called light year. A light year is equal to 9.5 trillion kilometers (6 trillion miles). It is measured by the amount of light traveled in one Julian year (earth year 365.25 days) which is about 299,792,458 m/s. It is mostly used to tell the distance of a star and other things in a galactic scale.
             Another reason why astronomers fear to explore farther is becuase of the dangers in space. The dangers include Cosmic radiation, rogue black holes, hypevelocity stars, Gamma ray burst. Some other things that astronomers have found lerking is space is suprising. They have found planets made of dimonds, a giant rain cloud in space, lightning 50 percent bigger than out galaxy, cold stars, stars bigger than ours. There are many things to be found in space and yet to be discovered. Many things are yet to be studied such as Supernovas, Blazars, Pulsar, Galaxies, black wholes, etc... Many things are being found each day and also studied.
